| I couldn't care less about the background, it's either art, graffiti, or vandalism depending on your mindset. I look at the pic and think who seriously owns a Silver Wing and doesn’t junk that useless Honda screen ASAP and fit an Airflow. Then I'm curious to why there isn't a rear rack and top box fitted so you don't have to cram stuff under the seat. That's the first things you do to any maxi scooter. Then ever inquisitive I'm trying to see what brand of helmet that is on the seat. It looks like and open face with a peak and visor fitted. Finally I moved on to that RoadRider magazine sticker/decal at the front which may explain where the owner is from. The full title of the magazine with that logo is Australian RoadRider. Maybe the photo was taken our Antipodean chum Kurt from Perth WA. |

| I agree with DickO. But then, any thing clown related has always freaked me out.

Wasn’t it Bansky who said that the function of art is to “comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable”. |

| Yes, and he also said:
“Graffiti is one of the few tools you have if you have almost nothing. And even if you don't come up with a picture to cure world poverty you can make someone smile while they're having a p**s.” (edited).
In any case, I would have to say that it's disturbing my usually comfortable eyes! |

| Thanks Tim, people seem more interested in the SW's screen rather than my eye discomfort! Still can't wait 'till December |

| I wouldn't worry too much about that forum photo, it'll be changed soon.
If you want real eye discomfort, there's the very real hazard now of being dazzled by low winter sun when out riding on bright days. |

| It's funny you should say that Meldrew. Actually, it's very serious. There's a point in the road from Eastbourne over Beachy Head where, for a certain period of winter sun, as you come over the rise the sun is directly in the middle of the road sitting on the horizon. Total whiteout for about 2 seconds!...Zilch! Spooky if you're not ready for it |

| It is serious, those drop down tinted sun visors fitted inside most helmets are useless in direct sun. A peak seems to be the only effective way to block being dazzled. I change from an open face helmet to a Schuberth E1 flip front adventure helmet during the winter months because it's adjustable peak blocks direct sun similar to the sun visor on a car.
I've also used a Super Visor peak from the US on previous helmets to good effect, I used heavy duty Velcro pads instead of the adhesive supplied to permanently fix it to a visor.
It's pretty common to see bikers with very dark tinted 'Off Road Use Only' visors on their helmets all year round. Great of course for riding in bright and low sunlight, and riders who fancy themselves as throttle jockeys, but still not as effective as a peak.
I've often wondered whetherl Black Visor Man changes it for a clear one when it gets dark for safety reasons. I'd say very unlikely and ride with reduced visibility hoping not to come to grief.
