I went to replace my drive belt today and got down to the last cover to be taken off. Lo and Behold, the Trike kit framework is in the way so I couldn't get the last cover off without undoing Motor Trikes framework on the left side. Well, I'm not even going to try that so I guess I'll have to bring it to Besser's Bike Barn and have them do it. They are the ones who installed the trike kit so they should be able to put the belt on and make sure everything is still in alignment. Not sure but I'm guessing it will cost me between $300 and $400 for the labor. I already have the belt so I won't have to worry about that expense. I'll have to call them tomorrow and see what their schedule looks like.

Now, that's a bummer. I wouldn't want to mess with framework. A small oversight on the Trike builders.

Do you think it's worth asking if they can alter the frame to allow future access?

Loosemarbles it doesn't look like they can the way it's setup. Their framework is bolted to the SWings framework and it doesn't look like it's changeable. Oh Well. POOP happens... At least I won't have to worry about it for another 16,000 miles. I still ride it around my small town but I won't take it on any road trips until it's changed. Better safe than sorry!!
