| As previously stated on here I had to order a replacement lower fork leg for teh right hand side as the clamp broke apart trying to get the spindle out. The only one available was in Belgium, today it arrived 6 days after it was ordered, a set of pads from cardiff also ordered on same day also turned up! DHL and Royal Mail.
Went to fit it tonight and they are not the same, the mudgurad mounts are different, the rear is higher and the front is in the same place but not as deep so while the hole lines up, there is a big gap to the support bracket. Fitted it and the wheel is in so will see how it goes. it means the mudguard is only attached to one mount on the right and the support also has one mount. Bit of work involved for next time the wheel is off to fit the disc in a few weeks time.
Ended up ordering one from china, £24, lets hold off on the opinions until it arrives. |

| just been on ebay and fowlers honda spares, looks like this is not a 2003 as advertised but is a 2002, mind you for a 2002 there is not a mark on it. Part number is the same from 2003 on but different for earlier models.. |

| I don't know exactly what you got under the mudguard on your 2002, but my 06 model has a steel mudguard/fork brace and I reckon you need to make sure this is fitted correctly as it could adversely affect the handling? |

| Mine is a 2008, only the fork leg on the right hand is from a 2002, yes i have the steel brace, front mount not too bad a problem just need a long bolt and s sleeve to make up the gap. Rear mount will involve a bracket from mount at top of leg to mudguard mount. Bar this bracket shes almost back together, just an oil and filter change and a battery charge to do. |
