Hello from Kc

Hi, my wife and I are new to the scooter seen. We got our/her first scoot
last summer (150cc internet special). was told about the burgmans. I started looking into all types of scoots and was set on the burgman 400 but wasn't sure. I never really put much into the Silver wing becouse of the seat hight. Until one day I went to look at a new red 2008 burgman. I walked into the dealership and stood the looked at this awsome looking scooter
I finally relized it was the Silver wing, the burg had already sold overnight. I could not take my eyes off the Swing so I had to sit on it it fit me like a glove.
So now I'm 3 weeks and only a little over 100 mile into my new 2009 Silver wing and its great. :D The wife and I have taken both scoots out and have had a blast.
Now we'll have to look into getting her something better.

Welcome to the Silverwing world. I also know that feeling very well. I still get it every time I go into my garage and see my Silverwing. You will be happy to know that, like a fine wine, it gets even better with time.

Great story. :D I had two different Honda Helix and I just love that bike. I rode one of the guy's Silverwing about two years ago and when I decided to move up I got a Red 09 Silverwing also. We are in Floirda on vacation and it is still at the dealers. When the weather breaks up north I will pick it up and I can't wait to see how it handles. I've only heard great things about it.
