| I cracked the back cowl of my Silverwing, the one that sits right on top of the light, that has the HONDA writing on it. I found one on ebay and it will be arriving soon. I want to get prepared and was trying to know if there is any instructions or even better any photos or diagrams showing the sequence and the different screws to remove etc. to replace it?
I did a bit of search but could not find anything about this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

| Thank you, at least this gives me a sequence of actions... I have not done any of these yet so I was wondering where all the different screws were and if there was any particular instruction to avoid breaking any of the plastic holders... sometimes they are stuck or help in place and without the data one can break some of the little parts... I know I have done that in the past with other bikes...
So this is great, but if there is any other instructions or photos it would be fantastic. |

| Can't reproduce the manual for fear of copyright. But I will post a link to Lings a Honda dealer and they show a diagram of the assembly. |

| For the side panels there are rubber plugs, back bottom that you need to pop out, with the screws of there are plastic ketchs on the top that you need to pop up to remove the side panel and push in to re instal .they are little hook type and are every were on the body works front fairing ,back plate below brake light . your owners manual should explain everything. |

| Awesome, thanks for the links. That diagram helps a lot.
I looked over the owners manual and there are instructions on how to remove the sides but not the actual rear cowl. But with this data I think I can do it.
Awesome forum and awesome people! |
