leg wind deflectors

Hi, New member here in upstate ny, bought a 2007 silverwing -lots of fun and have been adding a few things. Made some leg wind deflectors from fiberglass and carbon fiber and they work great -much better protection and even helps with passengers legs. will try and add a few pics. Am thinking about making some more using mine as male mold peice  but they are a lot of work so not sure yet as it would be difficult to make any money considering labor &materials-each set would have to be hand laid up from 4-5 layers of cloth and carbon fiber and then the mounting brackets and all. If I do make anymore I will post info. -having trouble w/pics max file size? maybe they have to go elswhere?

I would be interested in a set of these if the price is right.

Definite disadvantage of switching to the Shadow, no wind protection for the legs, added crash bars and a vinyl deflector to get the leg protection.

Go up to the blue bar under the main picture and click on Album.
Then click on Users Personal Albums.
Then go to Page 3 and scroll down until you see my name under a picture.
Click on my name and the album will open.

I have been looking for some on line and have only found them on the David Silver site in the UK. I just found out last night they have a US site we North Americans can order from too but have not had the chance to check it out yet. They look expensive for what they are.

They look like they are made from the same plastic and through the same processes and molds that the car window vents are made of around there. The just affix with 2 face tape.

This is a topic of much discussion on this site. By going to the search box and typing in wind deflectors, one can find most of these discussions. Of course, you may need a research assistant to do this for you.  

Hi All, I have tried to figure out how to add pics of deflectors to album section to no avail -also sent pics to site admin asking if he could help -no answer -so if anyone knows how to do this -let me know -or if you give me an email I will send pics to that, Thanks. ps they do work great

OR open a photobuck@t (or similar) account (set album to public viewing) upload your pic's to that,then copy the bottom link (img) to the right of each picture & paste that into your post
