Sold my Suzuki TU 250----to a rider in Buffalo NY----I rode it to Buffalo NY from Chattanooga----70 mpg, trip near 1000 miles, started in spring Easter weather, ended Buffalo, wet/cold/fog rain=miserable. snow piles in parking lots

My Darien Lite Jacket/ pants, not best for 30 degree F weather....but with feather jacket under (I left it home) I would have been warm----called learning...after 60years of doing this-----saw lots of trailer bikers!! Wimps.

TU 250, was 2 yrs old, bought new, 10,500 miles at turnover---nice experience but no centerstand/open chain and standard front end bit hard. real motorcycle riding position----8-12 hours a day didn't bother my soon to 76 yr old body. Heated grips would have been nice. Scooter offers better weather protection.

Flew home using Delta points.

So one bike gone-----but plan to ride my present SilverWing out to at least 40,000 miles, better 50,000 and get something else, new.

The 40,000 should come end of summer.

Flew home using Delta points.

Road conditions in PA and NY=3rd world----to the point of being dangerous for 2 wheelers.....and in NY, even toll was charged

Glad to hear the trip passed safely. You've probably ridden more miles so far this year than a lot of people will in the whole year.
I laugh when I hear locals here in Florida complain about our nonstop road construction/repairs. When I get guests from Ohio and Michigan they marvel how good our roads are.

John,

You sure do ride. Congrats on selling your bike and riding it so far. You should write a book about all of your riding.
