| Hi Im looking at buying a Givi airflow screen for the silverwing having read about them it would Seem that the AF 214 seems to be the right screen but it says that it only fits upto 2009 and mine is a 2010 is there much or any difference between them |

| Nope, you will be just fine. No changes in the windshield mount. |

| Welcome to the forum. I have the 214 and it works great even in the lowest position, it out performs the stock shield. |

| What you think about that if I bought Givi Replacement Sliding Screen Part Z1997R and install it to SW-T original screen. Does it work as well as AF318?

| I don't think that would work, both sections of the Givi screen 'compliment' each other with curves of the same radius on both horizontal & vertical planes, iirc the Honda screen is only curved horizontally, with the vertical being a straight |

| Wouldn't it just be simpler to remove the OE screen altogether and fit the Givi AF 318. It is after all is the Givi Airflow replacement screen for the SW-T 600, the Silver Wing you own. It also offers better hand coverage than the AF 214 Airflow that fits the earlier FJS/FSC Silver Wing, the version that the vast majority of us ride. |

| So the AF 318 gives better hand protection over the Af 214 if this is correct does this still fit the 2010 |

So you still haven't taken the hint and posted an Intro. There's all you need to know in the shed load of previous topics about the Givi AF 214. My previous post was a reply to arksal who has a SW-T 600 Silver Wing. |

| Sorry for bumping an old thread, I didn't understand if the AF 214 Airflow will fit the new "type" Silverwing (2009 forwards) i looked at the schematics and it looks like the newer model has fewer bolts/screws. thanks . |

| If the headlight on your FJS400 looks the same as the one on the forum photo then the AF214 screen will fit.
If otherwise then you might want to polish up your Italian language skills and check the Technical Archives at the excellent Silver Wing Community Italy forum: www.swci.it |

I have purchased and fitted the AF214, I asked because i'm trying to find out if it will fit on the new type Silverwing, in case i succeed fitting it on my old type. |

| For the newer shape (twin headlamp) SilverWing SW-T 400/600 you need a Givi AF 318 bud |

| I imagine you have it sorted by now, but if not here's a tip: whatever the registration year of your Swing the model year came to an end in 2007, so no problem - it iwll fit.
The screen you are/were contemplating is a great improvement over stock. If you still need one I'm sure I have one in my garage somewhere. |

No it didn't & no it will not, SW-T 400/600 is NOT the same screen as Silver Wing 600 .. please don't advise on what you are not experienced with bud |

please don't advise on what you are not experienced with bud That's a bit harsh. Not all of us are experts on here. Not at all, his 'advice' is wrong, simple as that bud, had he bothered to follow up posts by others in this thread before making his 'sales pitch' he would have seen that the twin headlamp model superceded the single headlamp model & did indeed use a different screen & so should not have made the offer .........snipped - clivewalsh wrote:

........ which would not fit the later model. All I did was correct an error & potentially save a member from buying an incorrect item. I stand by my original post (in full) ... - The Bern wrote:
