Hi,

New member BigRicky here. I am looking to move to a maxi-scooter and the Silverwing has caught my eye. So I have been doing a lot of research and reading reviews and posts from actual owners. This seems like a great forum with lots of posts about maintenance and mods. Hoping this helps me make my decision.

BigRicky,
You do know that you already made the exact introduction. Welcome to the forum. There are a lot of used Swings out there. Even new 2013 on dealer floor or still in a crate. Hope you get a Swing and continue to visit us here.

Hey, BigRicky, you are going about it the right way. Find out all you can before you buy. For what it's worth: you won't find too much negative stuff about the SWing from us. We have a few small pet peeves about the beast, but mostly things we can live with if we can't fix them. It is an easy thing to maintain and if you follow Honda's advice on service, etc, the SWing will last you a long long time.
Lots of info here: so be prepared to spend a few hours going through the posts. If you have a burning question, use the "search" function.
Hope you'll get your SWing and spend some time here too.
Jay.

Hi BigRicky and welcome to the best SWing forum on the net.

I have had my 08 SWing for four years now and really really love it. It's a great scooter and doesn't breathe hard at Interstate speeds either.

I don't think you'll be disappointed with it.
