| Hello from israel! The only workshop manuals i could find online are for 600 model. After reading a while i understand there is not much of a difference between 400 and 600,but engine wise is my main concern. I want to be sure that maintenance done by 600 manual is accurate for 400 engine, thanks in advance. |

| You might try posting your question on the Silver Wing Club, Italy (http://www.swci.it/il-forum.html) forum. They also have an extensive Technical Archive and may have a link to an on-line service manual as well.

| Also try Maxi-scoot.com & singapoerbikes.com, they may be able to help. I have a 400 SW and bought a factory HONDA manual from HONDA, and I received a publication titled Honda Service manual 2002-2003 FSC600. I suspect there are no english language manuals for the 400 model so they just sent me the best other option. Book is printed in the USA IPC number 1600.3003.02 By Honda 2003 61MCT01.
I know you want a 400 manual in English but my understanding is that this is not available, my book has been very helpful and has not lacked in any information I have needed including for the engine.
Ride often and safely, enjoy your wing as much as I do. Regards, Pete

| Then contact Honda in Japan directly===I know they use outside suppliers to print the books, but they should know how to help. |

| The simplest explanation is the FJS Silver Wing 400 was only onsale alongside the 600 from 2005 to 2009. It was never on sale in either the US or the UK, the two countries from where the majority of the forum members are from. So there's very limited knowledge or experience on here on the 400 model, I have read the occasional post from members in Europe that have owned one, and apart from the smaller capacity engine, the differences between the 400 and the 600 are mainly visual changes to the colour of the wheels, front forks, and swing arm.

| Why would you want to do that when you there's plenty of used FJS 600’s and later SW-T 600 Silver Wings for sale online all over mainland Europe. |

| The only 400 manual I have found was in Japanese and not much good to me, hence the 600 manual, It did not help me with the "T" switch, as the 600's do not have them and that is still a bit of a mistory. Everything else seems to be the same and even the performance of the 400 is not that far from the 600. Torgue may be different though. |
