glad to see site working---although I no longer have Silverwing, this site entertains me. 2 new SilverWings and over 90,000 road miles on them, I probably have as much experience with them as anybody.

If SilverWing were current....and lighter, I probably would have considered one before my last new bike purchase...2017 Honda CB300F @$4000 and the Dalton GA Honda dealer took my near 50,000 mile left over SilverWing 2013 in trade. May ride CB out to the 50,000 mile point I usually trade at. So far Thai quality good, probably equal to Japan.

I find scooters work well for my style of riding and underseat storage and dry feet I like.....15,000 mile belt changes am not fan of.

I instructed all my admins to do the same at Maxi Scoots. Better to be safe than sorry.

Indeed, it might be prudent for members to change passwords as well, they got Jeff's so may well have access to ours via the clone site

Just changed my password bud, just between ourselves it's now *******.

I use INCORRECT for all of my passwords. This way when I type in the wrong password my computer tells me my password is INCORRECT.

Nice to see the site is restored, Jeff. Although a Silver Wing non-owner for several years, I still enjoy visiting the site and reading posts both from long-term members and newer ones.

You are more than welcome You would have done the same for me.

I would encourage all the members here to join www.maxi-scoots.com . But do not cause DRAMA there !!!! It is a laid back site for all 2 wheeled bikes. That was the very first site I ever joined back when I had my Majesty. It is a great site and has been around a long time.

But it is good to be back.

Like Silverwing 600, Maxi-Scoots is a site of caring and experienced 2 wheel (and 3) enthusiasts. When searching for a scooter while taking "the course" I found Maxi Scoots, joined and immediately found people willing and happy to help a new guy get established. My many dumb questions were quickly answered ... just like they are here ! Maxi Scoots hold a yearly rally which has cemented many friendships. My location on the globe is a bit distant to take part but I have been offered the use of a bike and airport pick-ip if I were able to get to a rally. Yup ,, great people there, - as well here.

Just had a thought. What if the hijacker was able to add him/herself during the down time? It would depend upon how the site was recovered. Looks like it was restored from a clean checkpoint by the site hosting company. Anyway I am very HAPPY that it is back! In the meantime get well JeffR!

Very happy to see the site back up. Even though I don't currently have a Silverwing I do work on a couple that two of my friends own. It's my fault they got such good scoots, I told them the SW is the best all 'round reliable scooter for the money there is. In fact I'm going to get another to go along with my BMW 650. I love the BMW but still miss the SW. Lots easier to work on the SW and cheaper more easily available parts as well.

This website is one of the best going for the camaraderie, knowledge base, and good low friction members.
