| I got a chance to test my SW today. Making a right turn through an intersection, quickly because the light had gone yellow I hit a patch of sand left by a sander for the morning's frost on the road. The SW got halfway sideways on the stuff but riding it out with the throttle open to prevent highsiding kept things surprisingly well under control, couldn't have been better on a dirt bike. I've been wondering how the scooter would do with those small tires, now I expect it to behave pretty much like any motorcycle I've owned. |

| I had a similar incident this past Saturday. I was remiss at scanning the road surface at a yield sign as I was watching for traffic. The sand/gravel had accumulated and I got a bit sideways. Rode through it and took note of the failure on my part to scan the road. Got too comfortable and was not riding alertly.
Just a reminder. |

| Keep it up and we'll have to organize Silverwing dirt track racing. |
