New Silverwing rider from Ohio.

Just bought a 2013 Wing this past Saturday. It only had 165 miles on it,couldnt turn it down. I had an NC 700X, but could barely get on it anymore. The step through style of the Silverwing works out great. I hope to learn about the ins & outs of this scooter. Thanks, 11r150.

Same experience for me with a CTX700 DCT. Did a 2200mi week to dragon tail in June. Back pain for 11 days after. It's for sale now and I'm dressing out my swing for the fall trip...

Welcome 11r150. This is the site to be on if you want to learn about your SWing. I have an 08 SWing that I've had for about 5 years and really like it. This is the first scooter i've ever owned and it's been lots of fun.

Welcome! I to am new to Swing ownership, actually my wife bought it for herself. But my butt keeps finding its way onto the seat! Been riding a long time, everything from a Honda Helix to a CBR900RR. The Swing is a great scooter and you will enjoy all the info and characters on this site. Heck, Im gonna claim the "Know it all" title! What was the question again???

I have had a Silver wing 2012 for about a year.  Love it and just ride around Lexington,KY. I have ridden bike's since a kid and currently am moving from 60 to 61.....

Do yourself a favor amd take out your light bulb in the trunk so it doesn't kill the battery if you don't latch it shut.

Saves a lot of time not having recharge it.

Welcome to the site from central Ohio. I bought an 05 Silverwing a few years ago. My wife has an 05 Reflex. We like tooling around the backroads in central Ohio. Longest day trip for us was to the Neal Armstrong museum in Wapakoneta. This is a good place to exchange information with other Swing riders.
