Here's something posted in the UK, http://www.maxi-muppets.co.uk
It's about this guy's experience with something called an MD80 sports/spy cam that he likes a lot, and there's a video that he took with it while attached to his helmet visor. (About $40+/- on ebay).

Makes me wish I'd had one on my trip in September, especially on the leg along Hwy 191 in Arizona.

Thanks matthew,

That's an interesting thread. Looks like a great little camcorder. It did a nice job on the sample footage that was posted there.

I went ahead and looked on ebay and found a bunch of the darn things for sale at what looks like a good price.

Be careful if you want to buy on ebay. Most of the ones listed have no flash card included, so you'd have to buy that seperately. There are also listings that include a flash card, either 2GB, 4GB or even maximum 8GB. These ones are of course more expensive (the $40+/- that I found).

I might spring for one next Spring when I start riding again.

I just bought one for my husband for Christmas. A 16 gig Nano. I can't view how to use the ipod for a helmet cam. Am I having problems with the forum?

You velcro it to the inside front of your helmet with the lens 1/2" above the bottom of the visor. Check out my video on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtjiRDghgc4
