| I've done some auxiliary lighting on my Gold Wing and like to buy the plug-n-play type wiring pigtails that easily plug into existing wiring, and go from there. However, for the SWing it looks like it's been a few years since anyone on here has put any together and sold them. Commercially, it's probably not lucrative due to the low numbers of scooters. However, I could be wrong. Anyone? |

| I don't the the whole history of these harness. Dennis B maybe before my time here.
Searched around and connectors are out there. Make your own just need some wire.
Amazon Glarks 700 piece kit. Swpeet 580 kit search automotive connector kits. 6 pin connector has male and female plugs and pins. I'm not 100% but sure looks like Honda style connector. |

| When I inquired on this subject a couple of months back, Cosmic_Jumper PM'ed me and said he thought the connectors were a 5-pin Sumitomo, but suggested I pull the panel to check and be sure. Been too distracted since to actually pull the panel to check.
Anyone got any deeper on this?

Hello Hammer, Unfortunately I sold the last P & P connector a few years ago. The current cost of OEM compatible-color wiring has increased to such a degree that assembling a P & P connector is cost prohibitive. I keep searching for sources of OEM compatible-color wiring at a reasonable price. If/when I find something I'll make a few more. As an alternative you might try Posi-Tap connectors. I suggest the EX-130RR taps for 20-22 ga and 18-24 ga accessory wire. And make the connections on the tail light side of the existing connector. https://www.posi-products.com/posiplug.html |
