I’m from Newcastle in the North East of England, I’ve been riding big bikes for some 20 years now riding them daily for
My work commute. However, it was beginning to hurt too much getting to work on my ZX7R so the SilverWing arrived just before Christmas. It’s a 2009 abs model with quite high mileage (77000) but it’s been dealer serviced religiously by the one previous owner (many thanks to him). All is good with the ride, although I did have an odd starting problem recently where it just wouldn’t start, it was down to the second micro switch not activating, so a good squeeze on the brake and all is good again!

Welcome! You made a great comfort jump from your previous ride to the SWing. It's a great way to extend your two-wheel riding well into your out-to-pasture years. And you will probably be riding the SWing in the pasture, too. And I heard that the SWings are all so good that they all go to heaven.

No reason why your SWing can't give you another 77,000.

Welcome Daftarse to the best SWing site on the net. Sounds like you made a great choice on your SWing. It's a great bike. I have an 08 SWing that I had converted over to a trike last year. So far I like it a lot.
