| At first it only cost me new front bearings and a tire change from hitting potholes at medium speeds in Toronto's post-winter wrecked streets. Then it cost me the price of a car because my wife riding in the seat behind me would not enjoy the sensation. Now we have a car and I cannot buy any more scooters): |

| This year's extreme low temps in our "temperate" zone will really play havoc with our roads. Potholes will increase probably more than last year. Take care so as not to be swallowed up by a hole that will challenge those 13- and 14-inch tires. Take it a little slower over the next bend or the next corner, especially on roads you have never traveled. |
