Am I the only one wondering why posts from years ago are suddenly appearing with answers? Posts from 2017 suddenly asking how many scooters people have. If you were not here originally either start a new post, or just read what was said. Dementia will come soon enough for me without help like this.

Apologies, didn't realise there was a LAW about looking at post's and adding to them. If it offends you then don't read it.....................SIMPLES

Im terrible at doing key word searches. So I just did the lazy/stupid solution and just posted the question I had (seat strut replacement) because I couldnt find the original thread. I know its out there, but key words and I dont get along. Someone much smarter than me found the link and hooked me up.

I guess have been on this site too long. Time to leave and let others do the repeats. As I have a Cruisym now I will spend my time on that site.

| Sorry that you feel the need to move on, Old Limey. But I guess a lot of us old timers, too many in fact, have either given up riding or moved on to smaller scoots. Yes, a new generation of Silverwing owners is moving into the old neighborhood. Thankfully so.
We were all noobies once and asked annoying questions, no doubt. It's not as if the Search function here is easy to use.
Please do remember, you are still family here.

Well said Tim, there are a lot of people that are new here with loads of questions. I too have problems with the search function on most forums (due of course to improper use of keywords). If this offends, then the best advice is to overlook it and let the admins handle it. That is what we get paid the big bucks for!!!

Tim & Glenn Great words of wisdom from you both, I to am now retired, but and it is a very BIG " But" from age comes knowledge, patience & wisdom. And like yourselves I also am an Admin on a site and yes it can be very frustrating to read the same questions (Topics) over & over again, and as Tim said.... "We were all noobies once and asked annoying questions", so hopefully Old Limey & Meldrew stay on this great Forum to give their valued knowledge when needed from other members who are just starting out on the Swing, and the two of them being " Lancastrian & Yorkshireman" say things how it is, it's how things are here in the UK and that's healthy to have, but not to get stressed on a subject. Life is too short for that. So if you are BOTH reading this, one word from me " STAY" End of
