New to the silver wing, actually haven't found one to pull the trigger on at this moment.  Recently purchased a 2009 Yamaha Majesty, as an upgrade from a PCX 125, and although I really enjoy the Majesty, I am probably going to skip the "interim step" from the PCX to the Majesty to the Silverwing, as I want to own the next scooter until the wheels fall off, and my eye is already starting to wander this way...

Thanks for the great forum folks - I did enough reading on this site alone to feel confident that the SW is where I need to end up.  Currently in the market, and will report back when I pull the trigger.

Cheers!

BK

EDIT - as of 3:25PM, I am now in the club! 2005, picking it up this weekend if the weather cooperates.

Welcome bkreischer to the BEST SWing site on the net.
I'm sure once you get your SWing you won't regret it. I have an 08 SWing that I've had for 5 years now and really like it. She will do Interstate speeds without breathing too hard and is very reliable.
Lots of info here for doing your own maintenance on your SWing. I've learned a lot just by being a member here.

A friend bought a rough around the edges Yamaha Majesty for $600. Super nice scooter once we got it back to top health. He later sold it and regretted it. I dumped a basket case Silver Wing on him for free (thread is here somewhere) and he's bringing it back to life. Having borrowed his Majesty before he sold it for a month and riding my wifes Silver Wing for around a month before she triked it, I prefer the Silver Wing. Both great scoots, just the Swing is a bit more refined. Oh, and WELCOME to the site!
