Today I took the plunge after buying some proper spray for spraying seats etc, really pleased with the results. Link for the spray: https://www.vinyldye.co.uk/All-Vinyl-Dye-Color-Sprays/TRG-Vinyl-Dye-Spray-Paint/TRG-Vinyl-Dye-Spray-Paint-Normal/Saddle%20Tan-Vinyl-Dye-Plastic-Paint-By-TRG

Only time will tell to test durability. Let us know periodically how the paint stands out to wear and the weather.

| Looks nice but I wonder if it will stain your pants. I guess time will tell how it wears.

Well according to the makers, it is guaranteed not to fade or come off whilst riding even in the rain as it is absorbed into the material and not laying on the top like normal paint. I will be testing it on a nice ride to Belgium next week, so I will see what happens.

We will eventually find out which seat gets long lasting color. The scooter's or GoonerKev's! Looks great now for sure. I sure hope it holds up something like that would look great on my scooter, me... not so much.

Hope your test is successful !! Does nothing like this exist here in the "states" ?? Or anything like it ?? It certainly adds some "flare" to the Wing... Thanks.

Sure looks good. I'm jealous. I've found a couple of sources of vinyl dyes for car seats so far in the US but most of them are listed by car models instead of by colors. There have to be some similar products over here, the hunt goes on. A dye like GoonerKev used would look great on my black scooter. I would never have thought to go with a color like that. But then I have little if any artistic sense. Or any other kind for that matter.

Exavid They do loads of colours on there site and i'm sure they ship to the States, I used 2 can's and gave it 3 coats in the end (15 minutes before each coat) so it soaks into the material and not on top, never done it before but found it was easy to do.

I'll give them a shout and see. My all black machine could use some tasteful color like that.

Back from my trip to Ypres in Belgium and the "Dye" in the seat remained as is was supposed to do, no rubbing off and also driven in the rain, so a BIG thumbs up for the Dye
