| Hi and Merry Christmas to all. I recently acquired an ‘06 Silverwing and found this site to hopefully help me figure it out. Looks like a great site for info.

It's winter site is a little slow this time of year.
SW is a good bike. It can be ridden long days and many miles.
How much seat time do you have?

| Welcome to the best Silverwing forum on the internet. You're doing a lot better than I did. My first scooter was a 4hp Cushman scooter in 1958. |

| Welcome to the BEST SWing forum on the net. There's lots of info here. You can use the search box at the top left or just ask. I've owned various cycles in my life but my 08 SWing is my first scooter and I really like it. Both of us are waiting for winter to end so we can go riding again. The older I get the warmer it's got to be. I had it converted over to a trike a couple of years ago and have no regrets. This is what she looks like now. This is Jan and I on my 74 CB750 Honda WAY BACK WHEN. |

| Welcome lefty80883, another first time " scooter " rider after many other " bikes " as others said enjoy and ask questions. As far as calling it a scooter I enjoy that knowing what this little beast can do. Have fun with it. |

I’m on my 27th 2 wheeler now, but I’ve always referred to all of them as scooters. I’m also pretty sure this s’wing has more performance and capability than about a half dozen of some of my previous 2 wheelers. |

| First scooter was a 1964 Harley Davidson. Bought in Detroit. Blew up two weeks after purchase. Gave money back since they could not support and were almost bankrupt. Bought 90 cc yamaha and ran forever. Bunch a bikes since then. 2006 sw with 43k kms. Never let me down. Still using it and can't find anything better to replace it with. As they say " bullet proof ". Happy New year to all Bob |

Nice, my first scooter was a 55' Highlander 5hp! I remember the headlight, a break light bulb with a reflector! It worked about as well as a candle. |

| In my 55 years of riding I have had from a 1947 Harley chopper with suicide clutch to two Yamaha V-Max hot rods and three large touring bikes ( w2 Kawasaki X11 Voyagers loaded with options but I have never enjoyed them as much as I’m enjoying the 2006 Silverwing FCS600D that I acquired earlier this year. It is a pleasure to ride. |
