Hello, my name is Erik, 57 yrs and I'm from the Netherlands.
In the beginning of June I finaly bought my Silverwing, she's from 2001, black and I love her so much that in the last couple of weeks I already made almost 4000 km together with her. Yes I call my Swing a she. Smile
I came across this forum because I am looking for information about mantaining my Swing.
Things like what type of v-belt or rollers do I need.
So I hope that I can find the right information here on what to do or what's the best thing to do.

I whish everybody a great day and a good weekend.

Greetings from The Netherlands

Welcome aboard the board Erik. I see some differences from your scoot to the ones we imported here into Canada. i.e. the skirt panels are not silver, there appears to be reflective tape on the body panel "creases" and your rims have some custom tape work on them. Did you do these?

Hello Sonuvabug,
My Swing is completly flat-black with a thin pinstripe tape on it. I bought her like this, the guy who sold her, painted her in this great color.
She's from 2001 but he put an other engine under her. The other one was broken. The engine only ran 20.000 km, the Swing has 85.000 km on the clock.
She's an original Dutch bike, no import or something like that.
Have a good weekend & be safe 🙏🏼

Hello BlackSwing. Welcome to the forum.

Since you have an original 2001 Dutch Silverwing I wonder if you might have a wiring diagram for that 2001 model. While most model year Silverwings changed very little, the original 2001 model was a bit different than others. I am specifically looking for the wiring diagram for that 2001 model which shows the wiring color codes for the right side handlebar switches.

Hello Cosmic_Jumper, What I down loaded is a service manual 2002-2013. There is a wiring diagram in it but I don't know if this is what you need. Let me know if you need this than I will try to put it here online for you.

I hope that you can see the pictures. Hello from The Netherlands 15949910

Thank you for posting that Erik. Unfortunately that wiring diagram differs from the 2001 version. Your model has a headlight or hazard light switch on the right side handlebar switch. The 2002 and later models only have the Start and Stop switch with the headlight being activated with ignition.

Thanks for trying

Aahh Oké than I'm sorry that I can't help you.
Maybe when I find one I will let you know.
I'm always looking for information for my Swing.
Have a great weekend.
