| Hey, Although I registered back in 2015(gee how time flies) I didn't properly introduced myself. Sorry for that I'm Ze'ev, 31 years old from Israel. I really appreciate all of you kind people who help and share your SWing experience. Initially all my servicing was done at the local workshops, slowly, as I gained confidence and more grasp of the steps I started doing oil, sparkplug and airfilter etc maintenance. I'm preparing all the tools and parts for my first variator maintenance, I plan to follow the steps from stefano's much appreciated Youtube channel and following the Workshop manual along side with it. I'm happy to be a part of the SilverWing family across the globe. |

| Excellent Ze'ev, the great thing about this forum is the how-to helps. I bought mine and intended to have service et al done at the dealer but using the pictorials on here I have learned to do the vast majority of work myself! Send pictures of your ride if you can.

| Hi Ze'ev. This is a great site. I've learned a lot on how to do the work on my SWing myself. I tackle mainly the normal routine work and leave the big stuff to the pros. I've got some work to do this winter like oil and filter and put on a new drive belt. I had my SWing triked out a few years back and have no regrets doing it. |

| Hi Ze'ev ... a belated welcome aboard the board to you. You are taking the same path many have before you. That is ... performing your own maintenance starting with the easier items and slowly working your way into the more complex and mechanically challenging items.
This is how you build your know-how and confidence. Happy Holidays. |

| Likewise from Southern Oregon as well! I also do most of my maintenance on my SW but as I'm getting older and a bunch of worn out joints (on me) I have been getting more work done by my local Honda dealership. Just had new tires put on '08. They did a very good job, the bike handles so much better with the new tires and smooth as silk right up to a bit more than 100mph according to my GPS. |

| Welcome Ze’ev. I also do the basic work myself and leave the hard stuff to a good mechanic. Some things are just not worth the aggravation of doing myself but the Swing is not a hard scooter to do the basics on: oil changes, filter changes, etc. I also use my best resource, the search function in this forum where tons of help is available. There’s help here for the asking and we’re a friendly bunch ( for the most part) Ha-Ha. Welcome, welcome. |
