I was rear-ended this afternoon on my 04 SW. The exhaust seems fine but the rear mudguard is broken off just below the reflector. Has anyone done a mudguard replacement? What else has to come off?
I have to say, I think my chances of finding a replacement in Ireland are extremely limited. I can see myself just drilling small holes and stitching the broken bit back on with cable ties.

Our member “Siataukreg” who posts elsewhere as Ronald Davies Cox is a scrapper / breaker in the UK. He also started his own FB site: https://www.facebook.com/fjs600ownersUK/ Drop him a note there. Excellent chance that he has what you’re looking for.

UK stuff is essentially out of bounds to me now because of brexit. Unless a retailer is registered for EU VAT, I'll get double charged the VAT (IE and UK) and then will face customs handling charges and collection charges. It can easily cost more than the item.
I've found some in Germany and the Netherlands in the 20-30€ range with about another 10-12€ shipping.
In the short term I'll be drilling out some holes and stitching the broken bit back with cable ties.

Smellybeard, I like your attitude, while a lot of people are trying to figure it out your already ten miles down the road. My kind of riding, keep rolling!
