Recently took the scooter to France for a shortish trip. Left home very early then, inexplicably, managed to put 5 litres of diesel in it at Peterborough!!! Obviously picked up the wrong pump.
Managed to get sorted then on to Folkestone and through the tunnel to Calais. Then south and west to the tip of Brittany before having to return early via Caen/Portsmouth.
Silverwing was excellent on a variety of roads. Cruised easily at about 70mph on dual carriageways and superb on smaller roads.
The only minor problem was a front wheel wobble at very low speeds probably caused by the weight of luggage on the back slightly lifting the front. When I removed the luggage the problem ceased.
All in all the wing was brilliant for camping/touring - hoping to return to continue the trip later in the year.

Great!
Did your route down include the Pont de Normandie?

Saw it but didn’t ride over it. Very impressive though.
