| Just bought my fifth Swing a couple of weeks ago! 2004 with 2400 miles on it! It wasn’t took care of very well but only less than 2500 miles I figured a good buy! He registered it before he sold it and since the sell has locked up the DOT records until Kroger where he registered it turns in their paperwork! I’ll remember that next time! We’re retired and try to travel most of the hot months in our Motorhome with the Swing, and Jeep on trailer in tow! Got grandkids but they’ve grown into teenagers and have their own lives now! Looking for a good back rest or support for the Swing driver seat any suggestions? Look forward to reading posts! Boomer |

| Hello Boomer. Welcome to the forum. Regarding a backrest AFAIK there are only two options: If you are planning to ride with a passenger then a Utopia back rest is the product to go with. It folds down so that a passenger can more easily get on/off. Here a link: https://www.utpr.com/silverwingnew.html If you don’t anticipate a passenger then you might consider converting the butt stop into a backrest. While a passenger could squeeze in, that the conversion doesn’t fold makes it awkward. Here is a link from a previous discussion here about doing that yourself or finding a kit on eBay: https://www.silverwing600.com/t10656-butt-rest-to-back-rest?highlight=Butt+stop+to+back+restBTW There is a gold mine of information here on the forum. Just use the Search / Advance Search above on the left. |
