Summertrip through flatlands...

Hi, as our city's in Holland aren't as large as those in, let's say, USA, it takes only approximately 15 minutes to drive into the rural area. Cows, birds, small agricultural roads and a lot of water 'slootjes' as we say. Sun, me and my Silverwing humming... nice.

15 minutes and you’re outta town? Jeez, fifteen minutes of travel gets me 2-3 traffic lights down the boulevard along with the traffic —another 40 minutes and I may be in the ‘burbs. If I’m lucky.

I live in a smaller town and can get out in about 5-10 minutes. The only problem is there's lots of smaller towns in the area so once I get up to speed it's time to slow down again. But the countryside does open up a bit after a few towns.
