| Returning to the Silver Wing after years of T Max, Burgmans, Integras etc. Still running a T max but about to get a Swing as an add on project. ( I'll explain later). Living in the Peak District - great bike riding area - I am hoping to eventually replace the Yamaha with the Silver Wing. |

| A belated welcome to the forum. Your mention of your SW being a 'project' sounds interesting. I hope you'll keep us informed. |

| Thanks for all the welcome posts. Got the Swing in the garage now and starting the winter project to- do list. It's a 2010 bike in the ubiquitous silver ( which may change later on) Mileage not too bad at 33500 so am working through all the fluids, brakes, drive belt. Etc .Planned mods are Hyperpro front springs, Hagon custom rear shocks , Puncture seal in tyres , some sort of panniers. A couple of trips planned for next year. |

| I hope you have heating in your garage!
I think many Silverwing owners would consider 33500 miles as low, knowing there are a few with over 150,000 on the clock. I'm sure the kind of maintenance you're embarking on will see your bike travelling many more miles. |
