| I always rode my two new silverwings....and they never broke. But have box trailer experience with various bikes/scooters from when I lived in my motorhome. #1 wheel chake bolted to floor and front of trailer #2 eye bolts in floor for straps #3 straps around passenger grab handles #4 parking brake on and #5 I would add block of wood behind rear wheel. Really ruff ride in back there in trailer. new quality straps. |

These are handy for scooter tie downs. Regular straps for the rear as usual. |

| Best thing on ebay is buy large bar end cups with straps. The cups go over the handle bar ends and cross each other with strap eyes.
Amazon Canyon Dancers, really easy to use gets straps high on the bike. Better support.

| 1) Front wheel chock 2) Canyon Dancers (handbars) 3) Transport wire loops (under the rear tupperware on both sides). |

| Personally, I don't like using straps on the end handlebars, especially on longer/higher handlebars used on scooters or touring bikes, seem plenty bent ones from doing so, not to say cracking/breaking off the formed aluminum ones on other bikes, just got to hit the right pothole or bump and you could cause damage, with luck you won't drop bike in trailer If I can't strap on the lower handlebar bend close to triple clamp, I try strapping to lower triple clamp. The only time I trailered SW600, when I picked-up from dealer, it took me a good 20 minutes to figure how to safely strap it down. I used a non-motorcycle utility trailer with no wheel chock, tied wheel to front rail with nylon rope, strapped down at lower triple clamp and rear points, no issues for 125 miles. Ditto for my B400. |
