| Unless there's somebody down under who's breaking one you'll need to use eBay.
There's a guy on this forum in the UK who breaks SWs but I shudder to think what the shipping costs would be. I guess you may already have considered that? |

| Thanks. Ended up ordering new from the USA. Yet to ship, so hoping it’s in stock. Interestingly, once the front end was removed, I couldn’t get the bike to turn on; fuel pump doesn’t even prime. Hoping it’s some sensor which stops you starting it without the dash?! |

| Have you removed the handlebars assembly for some reason? The ignition switch must be earthed to the bike. Just a thought.... |

| Front subframe arrived, and I’m trying to put everything back together.
But, I don’t want to go too far as the bike still isn’t starting. Dash lights up, but no fuel pump noise and nothing happens when I press the starter.
Any ideas? |

| So after switching it on and off a bunch of times, the fuel pump kicked on suddenly and it fired right up
An, intermittent, electrical is my least favourite. Any ideas? I feel like a should chase it before putting everything back together |

| Yeah, I hate electrical gremlins. It could be a 'glitch' in the ECM if it hasn't been active for a while? If you have the FSM you could check the wiring diagram to see if anything in the same loom might be the culprit. If you have the time, you could try starting it up every few days to see if it's OK and then, I guess you need to take a punt and put it all back together. |

| I thought I had it solved, but it has returned; just when I got everything back together.
Before, it was not starting when this electrical part was not grounded/attached to frame (held on by two screws and a bit bigger than a matchbox).
The only other thing I can think of is that I did tack-weld near there, but had the negative lead close to where I was welding.
Any ideas? No fuel pump noise.....won't try and start. - Attachments

| The first picture isn't very clear to me. Without the FSM I guess its a case of retracing everthing you've disturbed during the surgery.
Problem with the kill switch? Fuel pump relay? Battery connections (earth)? Dislodged fuse holder under seat?
Keep trying. That gremlin can't stay in there forever! |

| I can't help with the second picture without my FSM... but, have you got the key hole plate dangling on it's wires at the moment or is it still attached to the handlebar mount. It must be attached (screwed) to the handlebar mount otherwise the bike will appear 'dead'. |

| Ok, I think it's the bank angle sensor......
I wonder if I installed upside-down?
Front end removal time..... |

| Ok, I had the bank angle sensor upside down!
So, super excited I put it back together and she started. Was about to do a little jig, then noticed now the speedo doesn't work properly!
HISS, indicators and the high beam light work, but no fuel, temp, speedo etc.
Oddly, before I turned put the bank sensor up the right way, it was working fine!
Any ideas?! So close to rideable!
Edit; if related, horn now not working..... |

| Solved! Had blown a fuse while removing speedo etc somehow..... New fuse, all working again. Now to gently reassemble and finish the fairing! |

| Horn and dash lights are on the same fuse!
I didn't know either!
Took bike around the block for the first time in a long time. Forgot a few fairing pieces, but overall success! |
