| For the longest time I thought Honda was stupid enough to leave a huge gap between the battery cover and the trunk body. Eventually I realized the previous owner just put in a larger battery. I'm thinking of 3d printing a replacement that covers the battery better and hopefully meets the wall of the trunk. Anyone else have this problem? |

| I guess my question is how old is the battery? If getting close to replacement time I would probably jury rig something until I replace it then go back to the proper size... The stock battery is YTZ 12 S but you can substitute a YTZ 14 S. I am running the 14 in my Silver Wing and it fits fine. |
