My 05 silverback has been taken apart and put back together so many times by the previous owners that she looks like Frankenstein. Has anyone ever used something like this???(link above) |

| If you like the bike, it will be worth doing. I'm having to replace more and more of the lower fairing screws each year as the winter road-salt dissolves them. I didn't buy a specific kit though, just a box of miscellaneous fairing screws for use across the fleet. If you don't already have them buy some JIS screwdrivers, the screws last a lot longer before chewing up. |

| I think they are a good deal in general, but I usually prefer to use JIS screwheads whenever possible on panels or exterior screws, screwdrivers are just more readily available than hex wrenches, minimizes the need for extra tools to carry on bike, etc. Also read the fine print, sometimes those "China items" use " general pictures or info, you don't know what you'll get until the "Slow boat from China" arrives, read reviews. |

| I bought a 4 piece set of US Pro JIS screwdrivers in early 2021. Why after so many years without a set I decided to buy some I can't remember, or using them for any job on my Forza either.
In fact I never knew Japanese Industrial Standard screwdrivers existed until a few years ago. Thinking back to those over chromed UJM's of the Seventies, everyone was butchering the soft metal screws on their bikes with Philips screwdrivers. Being completely unaware that the cheapo cross head screw driver in the bike’s cheapo tool kit was JIS.
Having said that, my thoughts today are with all those in the path of Hurricane Milton currently wreaking havoc in Florida. Stay safe. |

| " Having said that, my thoughts today are with all those in the path of Hurricane Milton currently wreaking havoc in Florida. Stay safe. " Thanks, we dodged another big one here, not so good for millions Hurricane Milton eye, made landfall/crossed Florida about 150 mi. south of us, scary night, wind gust to 75-100mph here, still raining and windy, over 24hrs of heavy rain, no apparent damage to our Home and pleasantly cool this morning 60's, east coast of Florida still getting battered |
