| All,
Just thought I'd share this with everyone. I just purchased a trunk for our Swing through Sears and am quite happy with the deal. I bought the larger of the two trunks in this ad, if anyone is interested.

I'd love to post pictures of it on the bike, but can't quite figure out how to do that. For Hanover, PA, it was $3.11 sales tax and $9.34 shipping. The whole bill for the large trunk was $57.93. |

| That looks like exactly the same trunk that JC Whitney sells for a good bit more ($80 for the large size, but they say they'll match anyone's lower price), right down to the iron cross thing on the box. Is the larger one that you bought the 31 liter size, or, as seems more likely, is the large one larger than 31 liters? I can't find that info on the sears site.
(Oh, I just found it on the jcwhitney site, it's 40 liters). |

| I like the trunk, wish they would show more of the backrest. If any one that has purchased this trunk could include a photo of the backrest side, I would appreciate it. Jim |

| Here we go....I must say, it's not a great backrest. If you're going to be using it a lot for a passenger, I think they're going to find it hard and uncomfortable. You might want to consider something else. I'm not sure how easy it would be to change either. The trunk is a good value for the money, but it's no Givi, even though it looks pretty close. |

| Generally speaking, I think the problem with backrests on topboxes is that they are too high. A pad fixed to the bottom half should give support where it should be. I'm not sure if it's the Honda box but one make sells both upper and lower pads. I want support in the small of my back, not just under my shoulder-blades; my Utopia backrest is lower-back height. |
