| i have the excellent easy rizer 'big blue' motorcycle lift,
http://www.on-bike.com/products_bigblue.htm
and use it for my Dragstar XVS 1100a custom, works very much like a forklift giving superior access over a standard table bike lift and takes less room when not in use.
to lift the bike you use a drill turning a socket onto a long worm gear, or you can use a 1/2" ratchet handle but takes a bit longer. raises the bike about 1.25 meter's of the ground.
now i also want to use it on the Swing - but how to do so safely?
any comments appreciated |

| might be so unfortunately, as like others i'm rapidly feeling more older than i'm capable of working on bikes it is originally designed for sports and custom bikes, and shown it will lift a 1500cc HOG adorned with 3 people, so it is very sturdy and safe to use. i did ask their tech dept about a Piaggio X9 last year, but the guy would not commit. they now show a 'double hoop' front wheel adapter in products, pics and description are vague, so i have emailed them to ask the question again. i thought maybe a chance of another member has used one. if no go, i'll make a platform up fixed to the lifting forks, and strap the scoot to to it. regs CC |
