| Hi All, I was just on Ebay and came across this deal for a New Honda Silverwing K&N Airfilter. $47.84 with free shipping (US only). Not a bad deal. Out of Calif. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/K-N-HONDA-FSC600-SILVERWING-02-06-AIR-FILTER-OEM-HA-600-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem4399accad3QQitemZ290341046995QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories |

| Hi Dale, I just wish this ebay seller would have used the correct picture in his/her ad. They did get the part number correct. |

| Hi Dale, Like I stated...They did get the part number correct but not the picture. Some ebay sellers do not know what the product looks like and place pictures in their ads, of products. They don't want to open the box to look. So they add this statement to thier ads: "**Please note some product pictures are used for illustration purpose only, actual product & packaging may vary** Please call us if you have any concern before ordering" This is the picture this ebay seller uses, not a Silverwing filter: This is the picture of a HA-6002 Silverwing filter: It would be to his bennefit to use the correct picture in the ad. |

| Do the K&N filters make a significant/noticable difference and is there any downside, ie some other aspect of the engine suffers as a result?
I'm only asking because I can't understand why Honda don't use these filters and lever the consequences through their marketing. |

| From what I have read on the forums, this is an excellent mod to do for the silverwing. Plus the K&N filter is cleanable, so you just need to purchase it once. |

The K&N filter did not increase MPGs. After putting on the K&N, I could hear a deeper and stronger tone ... and a more responsive throttle ( I did not measure it, so it was my perception). - wingnprayer wrote:

Honda does not make any money off third party parts. |
