I looked into this mans face...indeed a hero. I saluted his photo and tears came to my eyes. What a great person. It was an Honor to serve in the same ARMY as this great man.

Thanks for sharing this Dale. I missed Nam by a few years but served in the Marines and all of my NCOIC's and most officers served there quite a few times. Arkansas should be very proud of one of their own. Hopefully they know about him since they should.

I'll bet he told people "I was just doing my duty" Things like this should be the front page news, not which starlet has violated her probation. But then I guess we couldn't call them the quiet heroes and they are all around us. Thank you Dale for reminding me.
