Hi Jeff, thanks for the pictorial for getting to air filter, but I have a couple questions. Honda is the only ones that have messed with the air filter so far and side panel seems to be missing a few things? It looks like in your pic's there is a black foam rubber piece inside your side panel, there isn't one on mine. Also I'm missing one tab, apparently broken off by honda, that will be taken care of shortly. My main concern is that I didn't realize how loose the side panel is at the bottom. Is your's loose at the bottom where it may vibrate? Again, thanks for the pic's. Made the job a whole lot easier. Jim

Jim, I'm glad the pictorial helped but when you put the panel back on you need to push the tabs in tightly. If you are missing a tab that may be the cause. I would look at bit harder to see where exactly it is loose and look at both sides carefully. I think I have a tab that broke off but it is still pretty tight and doesn't vibrate, for me at least. I will have to look at the pictures again to see about teh rubber piece. I don't recall one off hand but I will look. Hope this helps.

Jeff, I took your advice and looked a wee bit harder, lol, and realized the front post that goes into the grommet had been broken off. That is why the side panel was so loose, also the grommet in the rear was completely missing. DUH, so took the front one and put in the rear until the new side panel is installed. Called Honda and set up a meeting for Friday to see what they are going to do about it. Whoever worked on it last will not touch my Swing again. Thanks again for the help Jim
