| Hi everyone discovered this site yesterday as I was trying to find out how to remove and clean my plugs. I have had the silver wing for 3 years now and have been really pleased with it. Although it was a bit of an adjustment after my Honda VFR800. I live on the Wirral which is on the opposite side of the River Mersey from Liverpool. |

| Thanks for all the responses good to meet you all. I had a good day today. Found the manual with the toolkit under the seat, cleaned my plugs charged the battery and the bike started! So obviously had to take it on a run to make sure everything was working well. Had a great day in North Wales, some good roads and not even spoilt by drizzling rain alternating with cracking sunshine. The joys of British motocycling. |

| Hey Hi Yo. your quote: "Good for those days when there's more rain than sunshine." Don't say that, mate. We will all have to double our efforts and posts....Sheesh, I might even run out of jokes. |

| Welcome Reese. Yet another rider not far from me. Iam in Bolton 40 mls down the road Probably like me you never considered a scooter as an alternative to a bike. After having my swing for nearly 3 mths. I would not go back to a bike. The Americans do not see a scooter the same way as we do. We think of spottie students riding the little two stroke pop pops of the sixties and seventies. You will still find people are not as ready to talk to you when you go to bikers stops but they change thier minds when you blow them off on a few bends. I had a run to Rhyl the other week with my son in law who rides a 650 Burgman. This is the best site for advice, and humour enjoy! |

| Hi dreese, from the sunny south coast.
Living north of the 'Pool' does that still make you a 'Scouser'?
Loads of useful info on here and a good crowd too so lets hear a few tales from the north. |
