| My daughter and granddaaughter had their first get off today on their reflex. They were 2 blocks from their house and some kids had laid a limb in the road. It was a shady area and she didn't see it until almost on top of it. She braked hard then swerved to avoid it. They swerved to avoid the limb and hit some sand/gravel on the edge of the road. They are ok , some bruises and scratches. She said she was going about 5 mph when the rear end slid out. They are going to be sore tomorrow but otherwise OK , Everything else can be fixed. So I guess I will be doing some repairs, when I go up next week. MaxB ( who is glad it's not worse) |

| Max, I'm glad they will be OK. Maybe someone needs to take that limb and beat the little bas... Never mind. Just glad it was only minor scrapes and bruises.
Be safe. |

| Max,
Its good to hear they're OK. You can pass along from me that it took about a week for my soreness to go away. Motrin helped. |

| Max... I have learned how little it takes for someone to be injured in a major way. Even 5 mph can result in a tragic outcome. Also, a little accident can sometimes be a great lesson experience. So glad your daughter and grand daughter are ok. |

| Sorry to hear about the accident. I hope they have many miles ahead of them! I understand about the low speed accidents.... Someone very very dear to me fell on his arm and broke collar bone, 4 ribs, punctured lung.... Been in trauma ward of hospital since Thursday. He was turning around in a driveway and his foot lost it's hold on the road! Yep, that slow! |

| Peach, best wishes for your friend.
The thing is when it's someone dear to your heart, you feel ALL their pain, just as if it was your own.

| Actually, my experience has been that I feel more pain when it is someone dear than when it is just me. |
