| Having trouble starting, hot or cold, charged battery, full fuel tank, only way to start is to push down and jerk up on handle bars while pushing start button. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks, Robert in Az. |

| Sounds like you might have an intermittent short. Also, the side stand needs to be up as well. Those intermittent shorts can be a real pain to locate.

First ... clean the (starting and side-kickstand) contacts for the switches ( not with WD-40 ) but something that is safe for electronics without accumulating more gunk. Then work work the contacts to ensure good contact before attempting to start. |

| Look at the left brake (rear) switch. Pull it in and see if you hear it click twice. If not clean it and try again. (Get your ear down close to hear) if it still doesn't , you may have to bend the little lever in there a bit. to make it easier to activate the switch.
