I went on Ebay and bought black reflective tape. They were actually black sheet that I cut down to the size I wanted and applied it to the sides of the front faring and down the bottom of the running boards. My scooter is the gun gray color and during the day time you have to look hard in order to see the stuff.
But at night it lights up white when car lights shine on it.

You can see what it looks like on my profile. Also besides installing a head light modulator with pia H-7 bulbs that really catch drivers attention I installed vectraLightled turn signals. (leds)
Hot dog! When the sun goes down, drivers in front especially, see the red brake lights reflection on my jacket. They were very easy to install. All you have to do is remove the plastic cover on top of the handlebars and find the different color wire.
I live in California and the head light modulator is legal. I called the CHP and he sent me all the different codes covering the legal use and I have never been stopped.
Be careful though. People some times think I a cop and quickly pull over causing me to quickly correct my lane change.
