| Is it me, or does that screen look a bit higher than the first generation bike??? Could it be that Honda actually listened??? |

As far as I've been able to piece together from various asian websites, there are very few changes to the new Silverwing. -Plastics refresh: Supposedly improved aerodynamics, slightly updated style (some will like it some don't), and dual headlights. (Only one is on at a time though, which I find quite irritating...) MUCH improved rear light package. -Instrument Cluster refresh: Much better looking (IMO) gauges, better looking dash panels. -Some slight suspension changes: I read some badly translated Japanese site that said they had optimized the suspension, but I saw no details as to what that may mean. -Default ABS: There will be no non-ABS model offered. |

| Yes, it looks nice, but I hope Honda produces the Mid Concept and sells it here in the U.S. Ride Safe...Robert in Az. |

| I have read on a site where it now puts out 51.5 hp and 40.5 ft/lbs of torque. Which isn't much but it is a bit more. I also read where the gas consumption is approx 8% better due to the new aerodynamics. It is just what I read though. If this is true the new aerodynamics may even make it ride a bit nicer, even though it already rides nice. |

I would not be surprised that they also changed the fuel map ( similar to the Power Commander ). |

| I wouldn't be rushing out to buy one.
Cosmetic changes that doesn't scream 'buy me'.
For me, one of the best features of the Wing was the tandem headlights.
Don't get me wrong, like the bike, but for some 'tweeks' nah, not worth looking into. Stick with my beast. |

| Me neither, I had a good look at one parked up in a street in Milan six months ago and it did nothing for me. I dislike one on/one off headlights. |

| Now here is what I would do as a Modder:
I'd pull apart the headlights and replace them with appropriate relays and wiring for dual brightness or even complete dual beam xenon headlights. Then both sides would be on at the same time for better aesthetics. Then add LED lighting for close in, down and around the bike.
That is of course in addition to the usual refinements... (God help me I'm starting to sound Like "Q" from James Bond.)

| I have now covered 59000 miles since 2005 and thinking "Do I need to change the Silverwing"? Still runs like a dream. I know the SWT600 is mostly a cosmetic change but it does bring the bike up to date. Re jigging the headlights, I agree, is worth carrying out in order to improve its road presence. |

But it's still not available in the UK. You going abroad to buy one? |

| If mainly just a few cosmetic changes, forget about it, weather was nice here in the Valley of the Sun yesterday, went for a short 2 hour ride, so far have'nt seen anything I would trade my 2008 SWing for, it's just too much fun to ride. |
