| I tried that as well Paul, it works fine as long as your pillion is comfortable. I found it a compromise between me as the rider feeling cramped or my pillion Sally cramed onto the pillion seat like an afterthought. I'm 5-9 and to feel comfortable I needed the pad set all the way back. This in turn lead to Sally having to sit in a very uncomfortable position, so I've opted (and have just got) a Uptopia Riders Backrest. The kit seems very comprehensive - and it should be for the price I paid! Yet another £37 in import Tax ....... I've been very busy of the last couple of weeks but hope to take time out tomorrow to fit it, I'll post up some pictures when I get chance . |

| Sals got a problem with her left hip, and the 'modded' bum stop/back rest splayed her knees just that little to much for comfort, bit of a shame really as I spend quite a while making the brackets out of Stainless Steel bar, they polished up really nicely . |
