With suggestions from Rogerscoot and another website I have changed my butt rest to a back rest.

I tried that as well Paul, it works fine as long as your pillion is comfortable. I found it a compromise between me as the rider feeling cramped or my pillion Sally cramed onto the pillion seat like an afterthought.

I'm 5-9 and to feel comfortable I needed the pad set all the way back. This in turn lead to Sally having to sit in a very uncomfortable position, so I've opted (and have just got) a Uptopia Riders Backrest.

The kit seems very comprehensive - and it should be for the price I paid! Yet another £37 in import Tax Rolling Eyes .......

I've been very busy of the last couple of weeks but hope to take time out tomorrow to fit it, I'll post up some pictures when I get chance Smile.

For the amount of miles that Julie would do on it being cramped wouldnt be a problem, having said that she is only little Smile

The Utopia looks nice, but have spent enough hard earned brass for a while. Its a make do/compramise what I have done so time will tell and the cost is minimal, a couple of bob for the steel thats all, the leather was found wanting on a cutting room floor Smile

Sals got a problem with her left hip, and the 'modded' bum stop/back rest splayed her knees just that little to much for comfort, bit of a shame really as I spend quite a while making the brackets out of Stainless Steel bar, they polished up really nicely Rolling Eyes .
