I noticed there are some rock chips on the shaft of the rt rear shock and is slowly leaking oil by leaving a dirty oily residue on the chrome part of the shock, Cant seem to find that part anywhere. I haven't tried the dealership yet fearing the high price. and not even on ebay.

Dealer price in my area shows $215 each. That is a bit costly.

The rear shocks are not able to be rebuilt based on what others have investigated.

Try contacting either of these sources. They both seem to always have salvaged Silverwing parts listed on eBay;

Bradley Cycle Salvage (aka Bradley-Cycle-One on eBay), Canton, NC
828-593-8876

Power Sports Nation, Norfork, Nebraska 401-371-7002

FWIW I don't ever recall seeing 'used' shock absorbers listed anywhere, ever. So I suspect that they are available, but just not ever listed.
