| Dennis:
Greetings from your neighbor to the South. I have been a Silver Wing owner for just 2 months (a used 2008, 11,000 miles, in cherry condition), and haven't had the chance to ride it but a couple of times. It does not have a trunk, and I wondered if you had a suggestion for an aftermarket trunk, with appropriate mounting, that may be available either on line or in the Dallas area.
I appreciate you and all in this forum, and thanks.

| Hey Victor, If you go to the search function and put in top case you will find a thread (about half way down under accessories and modifications) with 20 replies. There are a number of links listed by various people. This should give you a better idea of what others have done. The search function is your friend if you can figure out what it wants. I hope this helps you find what you want. |

| I have a trunk mounted on my bike. I don't like the looks of a trunk on a Silverwing, no matter what trunk it is, but I enjoy the use of my trunk on my Goldwing..... so I put one on my SWing.
I bought mine used off of Craigslist for $40 and it works great.

| Hi "CorpJuris", In case I missed it before.... Welcome to the site... It's a great place to get the knowledge you need for the Silver Wing. I just wanted to say that "Hi Yo's" comments on using the search function are spot-on. There is a bunch of info on top boxes that should give you a good idea on where to go and what to get. Good Luck! |

| CorpJuris,
Welcome to the site. It really depends on how much you want to spend really. The expensive Givi's go for a few hundred dollars, but they are very good quality, and the cheaper ones, which I have on mine, are only about $60. Mine is a Bestem and it isn't the quality of Givi but I have had it for almost 5 years now and it is still in pretty good shape.
Search ebay for some of the cheaper ones but make sure it comes with the rack that is needed. |
