| Returning home from walking the dogs yesterday we, Mr & Mrs W, were passing our local medical centre. Closed, as it was Sunday, the car park empty of cars but a few of our finest youths were sitting around enjoying the day in their own way.
From behind I hear the tones of a small engined two wheeler and sure enough a youngster on his moped zooms up the road sweeping into the car park in a gracious turn and attempts to stop, NO wrong, he does stop in front of the assembled crowd of his friends.
He applied the brake whilst still in the turn and yes the bike stopped, he however didn't!!! I'm giggling now as he, (the rider,) must have been the only one who it came as unexpected. As I said the scooter stopped and he continued, albeit sideways, staggering but still maintaing an upright attitude with what he must have thought was dignity. However to the rest of us, onlookers and his friends he looked the total pratt he was.
His only saving grace, he wore a helmet. Chin strap undone but hey - thats cool isn't it?
Sorry just had to share, I'm sure you had to be there to see it . |

| One of the unwritten laws is that "Foolishness on a two wheeled device must be done with an audience". He adhered to that law. Hooray.
