Silverwing is awesome!

Well I haven't posted in a bit, we have been getting fantastic riding weather over here in Ontario and I have been taking advantage of that.
I have owned a few motorcycles but now having ridden my 09 Silverwing I will say for me, this is the best bike I have ever owned.
I did spoil myself to making it more comfortable to me.
One of the members here suggested a longer grip and the hotgrips which I ended up getting and the warmth on the grips are excellent for the cooler morning rides.
My mechanic put something in the ends and it completely removed the vibrations I was feeling. I did raise the butt rest to make it into a back rest. For me, this has been a life savior for my back. In the past I could not ride more than an hour without having pains in my back on my other bikes. Just by raising this has given me that extra support I needed. I also did buy a shark radio system, not the 200amp but the 100amp and although it didn't cost me much it sure cost a pretty penny for a mechanic to install it. He had a heck of a time with the wiring and ended up wiring to an adapter in the lock box. He put the heated grips on a separate fuse attached to the battery. He could not get the speakers to fit without hitting the windshield so he made a special mount for them instead of usng the stock mounts they sent with the radio. He also mounted the audio box in the glove box so it wouldn't slide or overheat. It worked great till I found out the up level for sound on the remote didn't work after installed. Fortunately, the company is sending me anoter remote. This past weekend I rode with harleys and a spyder group and the swing kept up with absolutely no problem. I love that it is automatic, no more sore hands with the clutch. No more leg cramps as I have room to stretch. This bike is a keeper, absolutely love it!
