| Picked up a 2011 Silver Wing my dealer had as last years model shipped in from a closing dealership... Nice Deal, Sweet Ride!
I traded my 2009 Honda DN-01 - SemiAuto Motor/Scoot.. To Heavy, No Storage, Fun Ride but was definitely not for me.
I usually ride A1A along the coast between Jax and Daytona - Sometimes Route 1. Do not go inland much. No modifications made to Scoot, not planning anything major cause I am fine with it the way it is.
Question: I see the Silver Wings went from 2001-2009 and have now returned to Honda Showrooms with 2011/12 models. Does not look any different at all, identical. Just wondering if anyone knows if older model (01-09) mods, etc. fit the newer models also (11-12)? Not sure if there is any difference in the new ones or why they skipped a year? |

| Welcome A1ARider. A person after my own heart. I like the scoot as it is and have never bothered with any serious mods. I'm not anti mod, (just lazy I guess). |

| I cheated with the spelling, though.
Just thinking -'Auto-gyro' - that should start another branch. |

| There is one additional difference Terry (bigbird) didn't mention -- ABS was optional through 2009 (at least in the states); now it's the only way you can get a Silver Wing.
A1A is a lovely ride indeed but don't confine yourself to the coast; there are some nice rides not far inland. Try SR13 (San Jose Blvd) from 295 to Palatka. You can then head east on 206 or 207 to get back to A1A. |

| Welcome A1A Rider,
I agree with you, the S/Wing is almost perfect the way it is, the only thing I added was a Givi Top Box, Ride Safe.
