| I would not trust the suction cup at all. Get Dennis's gps mount or another RAM mount but if you like your gps I wouldn't use the suction cup IMO. |

According to Murphy's Law: Only when a dump truck is following close behind. |

| Use a RAM Mount (or similar) Even then find a means of tethering it to the scoot (belt and braces engineering). I have a TomTom Rider on a brake reservoir mount - steady as a rock and positioned just off my llne-of-sight so a quick glance is all I need.

| Interesting that my pal's TomTom Rider has an anchor for a safety tether but Mr Garmin has more confidence in his mount and doesn't provide one ! |

I'm sorry, what is an AF 214? |

| As I understand it, the AF-214 is the two piece Givi screen with the upper part being adjustable. If I'm wrong, I hope the owners of this screen will correct me. Hope this helps. |

| In situations like this the immortal words of Robert DiNiro come to mind. "If there Is any doubt, there is no doubt" I wouldn't use a suction cup for anything more iportant than one of those stick on mohawks for your helmet |
