| Hi All,
We just picked up a Silverwing as a travelling.companion to our BMW R-Bike. Still getting used to the bike, coming from a Yamaha XC125, so a bit of an adjustment to the weight and power.

| Well, welcome aboard, Marybeth, to the forum and to the Swing. It is indeed an adjustment. I went from a 150 to a 250 to the Swing, myself. For me, it's about as heavy a bike as I care to deal with. I can still pick it up when it drops, but I expect that'll come to an end at some point. As far as power goes, it has all I'll ever want or need. Completely capable and comfortable at interstate speeds all day long. A nice touring bike. Even two-up, I'm told, though I don't ride that way.
Ride safe. |
